Custom Ornament Commissions
Love notes to the natural world -- now on a string!
This is a commission for a custom ornament with a small, original landscape painting in acrylic gouache. Custom ornaments will ship in 1-2 weeks.
BIRCHWOOD/BASSWOOD ROUNDS:
Please note that the birchwood and basswood ornaments are natural wood slices. I prepare them with sanding and layers of sanded gesso, but there are still natural textures and variations in the color and size of the wood itself. Wood slices tend not to be perfectly round, especially the birch, and range from 3 to 4 inches.
PLYWOOD:
The plywood pieces are perfectly round and painted edge-to-edge. They are also thinner and smaller at 2.75 inches.
