Acrylic gouache has a smooth, velvety matte finish; a light gloss varnish is available for added durability. Adding a gloss varnish will add a day or two to shipping times so that it is dry enough to ship.
Please note that ornaments on natural wood slices, though they have been sanded and prepared with layers of gesso, still have the texture and color variations of natural wood. The edges of the painted areas may also exhibit the subtle variations and imperfections that characterize hand-painted pieces.
